Mrs. Lund’s Lollipops have been earning hearts for kind acts during the month of February. We did it! We got to 100! Way to go kindergartners.

NCSD including offices will be closed today, 2/25/22, due to unsafe road conditions. Be safe if you are commuting.

The four buildings in our school district hosted a food drive the past few weeks. We had amazing support and participation (and competition)!
Between all schools, we have a total of 1,359 food items donated that will go toward our backpack program this Spring Break!

NCSD won a nearly 17,000 grant to purchase new warmers for our kitchens

Did you know.....?
Most people who are deaf and hearing-impaired depend on the ability to read lips in order to converse with others, and a facial covering that impedes communication. A HUGE Thank You to ClearMask for donating FDA approved clear masks to Gibson Primary!

A big shout out to Mrs. Hartman's 2nd grade classroom! They all have their own ClearMask to wear when they choose during the school day. Many students in Mrs. Hartman's classroom have made positive comments about their masks. Each mask is marked with the student's initials and hang from a hook on the side of the their desk. I have enjoyed seeing their smiles!

NCSD is hiring Instructional Staff immediately! We offer competitive pay and great health, dental and retirement benefits. Please consider the opportunities currently available here: https://www.norwichcsd.org/page/job-opportunities

Just a few of our 100th Day of school activities. Students in Miss Valashinas’ room brought in a collection of 100 different items to share with the class. We even assembled a 100 piece puzzle of the United States of America!!!

Mrs. Smith's, Ms. Kovac's and Ms. Chandler's classes studied the behavior of worms during science class.

Happy 100th day from the M&M pod
