If you have a child who will turn 5 years old on or before December 1, it is time to register for school.

Student Registration
Parents and/or guardians of new or returning students entering the Norwich City School District must complete a registration process prior to the student(s) attending classes. Registration packets are available at each building.
Stanford Gibson Primary - UPK - 2nd grade, located at 8 Ridgeland Road
Perry Browne Intermediate - 3rd - 5th grade, located at 31 Beebe Avenue
Norwich Middle School - 6th - 8th grade, located at 89 Midland Drive
Norwich High School - 9th - 12th grade, located at 89 Midland Drive

The following documents must be presented at time of registration:
Birth Certificate (original BC if student is entering kindergarten or has never attended an NCSD school)
Immunization record for students entering kindergarten
Two (2) proofs of residency, which can be one of the following:
A current driver's license with your legal name and current address
A cover page from a mortgage agreement showing the property location and buyers' (new owners') names
A current rent receipt/rental agreement showing your rental property's location, landlord's name, address and telephone number
A voter's registration card
Bank statement or Pay stub
Utility Bill
If applicable, court-ordered physical placement/custody provisions for said children/child.
Non-Resident Tuition
The following notes the current non-resident tuition rates that have been approved by the Board of Education in accordance with New York State Education Department Non-Resident Tuition Worksheet.
Tuition is due monthly, in advance.
In addition to the information presented, please be advised that, in accordance with Section 3202, subdivision 3 of the Education Law, the School District is required to deduct from this tuition for non-resident students any taxes paid by the parents or guardians for support of this school district.

Grades K-6: $1,847 per student
Special Education K-6: $26,248 per student
Grades 7-12: $5,094 per student
Special Education 7-12: $29,495 per student
