Three Norwich High School students were honored at the annual American Chemical Society banquet at SUNY Binghamton last month. Michael Zheng and Nolan Reid were honored for their participation and exceptional scores in the National Chemistry Olympiad. The Chemistry Olympiad is a competition among chemistry students throughout the nation. It consists of a written exam and hands-on laboratory sessions. Adam Jensen was awarded the Drs. Mary and Henry Paul Memorial Scholarship. The late Drs. Mary Paul and Henry Paul were Norwich Pharmaceutical scientists and always promoted science education. Please join us in congratulating these students.

We started our Stay and Play journey with Fairy Lantern Jars featuring our favorite animals. Thinking about these things, made us wonder about how animals build the homes they live in. We read: If Animals Built Your House by Bill Wise and Rebecca Evans. Then we built our own nests with items found by our school playground. We look forward to engaging in more activities and staying to play (and learn)!
