Attendance

Dear Families,

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Because of your support, our students have shown up, stayed engaged, and made meaningful progress. Across the district, we’ve seen students showing up more consistently, and that matters. It’s not just about numbers — it’s about teaching our kids the power of being present and making choices that move them forward.

But we’re not done yet — and these last few weeks matter more than ever.

Why Every Day Counts

No matter the grade, each day a student is in school is a day of learning, growth, and connection.

  • Elementary students build the habits and skills that set the stage for future success. These final lessons help wrap up the year and prepare them for what’s ahead.

  • Middle schoolers are mastering new concepts and learning how to manage responsibilities. Finishing strong gives them confidence and keeps them on track.

  • High school students, especially those getting ready to graduate or move to the next grade level, need to stay focused and finish courses with strong attendance and effort.

Our District Goals

We’ve worked hard all year to improve student attendance, and we’re close to reaching our goals:

  • Improve Daily attendance

  • Reduce Chronic absenteeism

These goals represent more time learning, more opportunities, and better outcomes for every student.

How You Can Continue to Help

You’ve been key to the success so far. Here’s how you can Be Present, Be Powerful from home:

  • Encourage your child to come to school every day unless they are truly sick.

  • Keep routines consistent — sleep, meals, and transportation.

  • Schedule appointments outside of school hours when possible.

  • Let us know if you need support — we’re here to help.

Let's Celebrate!

We’re so proud of the effort our students and families have shown. Let’s keep the momentum going. Let’s show up, stay focused, and finish the year strong — together.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your presence, your support, and your encouragement are powerful.
