Message from our NCSD Leadership Team A Message From Our Leadership Team
The Norwich City School community is represented by different backgrounds, beliefs, and perspectives. Despite our differences, we collectively represent The Purple Tornado. As we come together in our learning spaces throughout the district, whether in person or virtually, we are reminded most recently of the importance of striving towards unity as a school community and as Americans. As we watch current events unfold in the media-whether they were events from the summer or events at the Capitol last night, know that as a school community we are here to facilitate a nurturing environment for all of our students and staff. Undoubtedly, we have had our challenges related to the pandemic mixed with the political and social movements seen throughout our country. These events have the ability to incite fear and create anxiety amongst  students and staff. Please know that as leaders in this school community, the most important thing we can do is foster an environment where students and staff feel safe, have a voice, and feel loved. Today, more than ever, we collectively promise to do our best to actively pursue the promotion of tolerance at NCSD.
