On November 1st Dr. Jason Andrews presented to Norwich faculty what it means to be a Professional Learning Community. Dr. Andrews focused his talk on what it truly means when educators collaborate and how to focus on a results-oriented collegial conversation. This year, Norwich educators have began or ended their day with a professional learning team experience. These teams are working diligently to ask 4 specific questions 1) what do we want all students to learn? 2) how will we know they’ve learned it? 3) what will we do when students haven’t learned? 4) what will we do when students have already learned?
These 4 questions will drive the work of the PLC process.
