NEW YORK STATE BLUE RIBBON COMMISSION (BRC) ON GRADUATION MEASURES
In November 2023, the Blue Ribbon Commission on Graduation Measures presented their recommendations for future diploma requirements to the Board of Regents. Since then, the Department created a vision to implement these recommendations.
Meeting attendees will have the opportunity to break into smaller groups to discuss and provide feedback to the Department on their proposed vision for implementing the recommendations of the Blue Ribbon Commission on Graduation Measures. Please attend and share your input!

This summer, one of our students grew a 65-pound pumpkin with his grandmother. We will be using the seeds to make an art project. Our students have had an incredible first full week of school!
This week in music class, we are getting settled in. Students are learning where we sit and classroom procedures. 4th graders have already put their creative hats on, making up some moves and a little body percussion to go with the "Music Room Rules!" Students cannot be members -- incorrect, the PTA need students to join!
When students become hands on with PTA, the learning
opportunities are endless, and the impact is vital. Consider
the student benefits of becoming a PTA member, especially
at the middle and high school levels. What an exciting
opportunity for students who were not able to be part of
student council or for college bound students to proudly
include their PTA membership on entry applications.
