Our 7th and 8th grade students recently worked together to create a beautiful collaborative spring mural featuring zentangle flowers and insects. In addition, students have just completed a fascinating unit on scientific illustration, combining creativity with observation and precision.
We are also incredibly proud to celebrate 8th grade student Allison Hall, whose artwork has been selected for display in the *Young at Art Exhibit* opening this April at the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown. Be sure to check out her amazing work!
Meanwhile, Art Club members have been busy creating heartfelt pet portraits for the Delaware Valley Humane Society. We can’t wait to share these pieces with the community to help spread the word about wonderful dogs and cats who are looking for their forever homes.
It’s been a season full of creativity, collaboration, and artistic growth in the art room!

The NHS Art Studios made gifts for staff to celebrate YAM! Using reclaimed materials, students from multiple classes created unique pinch pots that highlight creativity and craftsmanship.
Youth Art Month, celebrated each March, promotes the value of art education and supports strong school art programs.

Given the tremendous amount of support and attendance the PTSA had to create two separate events in order to accommodate everyone. First was for Perry Browne students, grades 3 - 5 back in February, 2026. Gibson students, now is your time to shine!
Students, invite that special adult in your family to attend the Bunny Hop, dance on Friday, March 27th from 6 - 7:30 pm. Remember, this event is only for students in PreK - 2nd grade!
