Ms. Reed's 5th graders created Thankful Spoons last week - special spoons to pass around the table at any family dinner. When the spoon is in your hand, you share something you’re grateful for. This simple tradition ties perfectly into our PurposeFull People word of the month for November: gratitude. We are so proud of the kindness and reflection our students showed while making them!
Prek students show a lot of creativity using the story telling legos during their science classes. These are a great introduction to legos!
Our Pre-K writers wrapped up their Storytelling unit with a joyful Publishing Party! Students proudly shared their work, celebrated their progress drawing and telling stories, and connected our Purposefull People curriculum by exploring the word "Gratitude". They each drew and told about the special people and moments they are thankful for using details! We are so proud of our growing authors and illustrators!
