Grade 4 STEAM has been learning about plate tectonics and fast land changes. Our first big team challenge was to build a building of a specific height and hope it can withstand en earthquake (dropping a heavy pile of books next to it) a lot of planning, thinking and redesigning happening.

The first two "1,000 page readers" in Mrs. Finch's class getting ready to enjoy their ice cream treat! We have many students that are not far behind them! Congratulations, boys!

4th graders are showing responsibility by taking care of our class pets.

Game Day, Saturday, October 18, 2025

First graders are showing responsibility by working with a partner to solve addition and subtraction problems on their vertical whiteboards.

Game Day, Friday, Oct 17, 2025

Kindergarten students have continued to learn about living things in science class. They compared land snails to pond snails and looked closely at shells.

Second grade science students have continued to learn about rock types. They are looking at sizes of these sedimentary rocks and using screens to help them sort like real geologists! We also got to use a rock tumbler to see exactly how weathering affects these rocks.

We are responsible readers in Kindergarten!

🌟 October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month 🌟
Today, our hearts were touched by a beautiful act of kindness and advocacy. Some of our elementary students shared pins and bracelets with teachers and staff to help spread awareness and celebrate individuals with Down syndrome. 💙💛
These small tokens carry a big message: inclusion, understanding, and the importance of embracing differences. As educators, we are grateful for the opportunity to learn from our students every day—not just through academics, but through compassion, courage, and community spirit.
Let this be a reminder to all of us: awareness leads to acceptance, and acceptance leads to belonging.
