Mrs. Lawrence's class went to the zoo last week. We learned about different animals and their habitats.
Mrs. Lawrence and Mrs.Nial's class is learning about chicks. We have 9 eggs in an incubator and waiting patiently for them to hatch. Mrs. Parker is showing us the different stages they go through.

I am happy to announce that today, May 20 at 8:00, the BOE approved the 2022-23 budget, as proposed. Please find the major bullet points from the election, below.

Tax Levy at Tax Cap: 1.48%
NCSD Budget: 414 Yes / 174 No, 70.41% YES
Library Budget: 424 Yes / 160 No, 72.60% YES
Capital Reserve Proposition: 456 Yes / 126 No, 78.35% YES
Congratulations to Debra Phelps who will be joining the Board of Education in July and to Kiernan Hamilton who will continue to serve as a member of the BOE.

Norwich 8th grade students can apply to engage on a trip of a lifetime! The Daniel Barden Mudfest Board offers an all expenses paid leadership trip for local 8th grade students to canoe 78 miles through the Adirondacks this summer. The trip offers outdoor, leadership and friendship opportunities. The Mudfest Board will fund a student donating to a charity of their choice.
