Norwich City School District is hiring a Family & Consumer Science Teacher to lead and grow our Culinary Arts CTE Pathway, helping students earn a technical endorsement and credential in food preparation.
What You’ll Do:
• Teach hands-on courses: Global/Regional Foods, Culinary Techniques, Food Science, &and Career & Financial Management
• Prepare students for the YouScience Culinary I technical assessment
• Coordinate guest speakers, job shadowing & community engagements
• Integrate NYS CDOS & FACS National Standards into daily instruction

Congratulations Boys & Girls Outdoor Track Seniors!
Day two of the 100th New York State FFA Convention and Expo was packed full of new experiences, fun and contests! We were recognized for completing the 100 year Chapter Challenge, our Forestry, Vet Science and Junior Quiz Bowl teams gave it their all in their contests and we ended the night with a carnival. We also had the honor of hearing from the Governor, who gave remarks at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new FFA building at the State Fair. We are so proud of our FFA members for putting themselves out there and trying new things! It has been a very busy two days, and we are ready to soak up all that we can during day 3!
