Game Day Saturday, November 2, 2024
Mrs. Markham's, Mr. Astor's, and Mrs. Perry's classes had a fantastic time at the PurposeFall Parade today! We celebrated by dressing up as characters from our favorite books and listening to music!
Our awesome third graders are writing the rhythms to the text from a new song that goes with a book called, “What About Bear?” by local author Suzanne Bloom. This is one of Mrs. Snitchler's favorite types of lessons to teach because the end product comes out different with every single class. Third graders are learning that the syllabication of the text is what drives the written rhythm.
The Pre-Kindergarten classes concluded their unit on Community Helpers by going to our local Fire and Police Stations. All the children had a fun experience.
