Good afternoon Perry Browne families,
This afternoon Perry Browne experienced an unplanned fire alarm. There was no fire in the building and after a thorough inspection by the Norwich Fire Department, the students and staff were able to return safely into the building. The cause of the alarm is still being investigated. Thank you to all Perry Browne students and staff for adhering to our safety protocols and for practicing patience as you kept everyone safe.

High School Technology:
The Design & Learning lab recently had 20 new desktop computers installed, complete with double monitors! This is a great enhancement, and the benefits to students of working on these new machines are already being realized. This investment is great for students and staff!

High School Technology (1 of 3):
The Draft & Design classes are nearing completion of the latest Design & Build project. Due to the Project Lab being tight on space, we asked the students to design and make mobile tool tables, so we can use our space with more flexibility. Students were provided with a simple reference design from which they produced their own detailed designs, and were then given materials to build their tables. Some excellent tables were produced, and students had to iterate and solve problems in real-time!

High School Technology (2 of 3):
The Draft & Design classes Mobile Tool Tables in progress!

High School Technology (3 of 3):
The finished articles! Great job, and these will be put to immediate and good use!
