From November 30th-December 3rd, two Norwich High School musicians participated in the NYSSMA Conference All-State Festival in Rochester, NY. Anthony Pomares (Alto Sax, Bass 1) and Caden Stone (Double Bass) earned their spots by earning 100's on their All-State NYSSMA Solo's last May at Norwich's Solo Festival. After successfully making the group, both students recorded seating auditions and placed second in their respective sections. Acceptance into a NYSSMA Conference ensemble is incredibly competitive and rare. Congratulations to both of these students for all their hard work and dedication over the course of their musical careers!
