French students had the chance to put learning into action over Spring Break on a trip to France. Students were able to visit Paris, tour castles in the Loire Valley and visit Mont St Michel and the D-Day beaches in Normandy. The next French trip will be to Quebec City in 2028.

On Friday night, NHS English teacher Mr. Rich Bernstein took a group of his students to Colgate University to hear our inaugural National Youth Poet Laureate, Amanda Gorman, speak to a sold-out audience in Colgate's Memorial chapel. Ms. Gorman read from the collection of her poems and responded to questions from Kezia Page, associate professor of English and Africana & Latin American studies at Colgate.
