On Friday night, NHS English teacher Mr. Rich Bernstein took a group of his students to Colgate University to hear our inaugural National Youth Poet Laureate, Amanda Gorman, speak to a sold-out audience in Colgate's Memorial chapel.
Ms. Gorman read from the collection of her poems and responded to questions from Kezia Page, associate professor of English and Africana & Latin American studies at Colgate.
