Important information regarding the JC Football Game on 10/18/24.
All High School students attending the Varsity Norwich @ Johnson City Football game on 10/18/24 are required to have an admission ticket to get into the game. The tickets are FREE just mandatory for admission to the game. Get your tickets at the AD office in the HS Thursday and Friday 8am-12pm and 2:00pm to 3:30pm.

Just a quick reminder about Gibson and Perry Browne's Penny Collection Challenge! Which school will collect the most change for Western North Carolina families? Please remember that all change collected from both Gibson and Perry Browne will be given directly to NC Association of Educators to support those in Western NC; so many have lost everything due to flooding and destruction during Hurricane Helene . Maybe your child(ren) can find a penny in the couch cushions , on the sidewalk or under the seats in your car....these pennies , nickels and dimes will add up to an incredible donation: every bit helps!!

Please be on the lookout for small, labeled zip lock baggies and a letter for Gibson Primary Caregivers! In continuing the focus of our district-wide PurposeFull People Curriculum, students, families, staff and community members will have the opportunity to demonstrate traits such as kindness, respect, responsibility and much more in this month’s collection. Many schools, students and families were displaced due to the impact of Hurricane Helene, and we’d like to show support to those families and students. The penny collection starts at Gibson TODAY (October 15) and it will run for the remainder of the month. All money collected will go directly to North Carolina Association of Educators (ncae.org). All change will be accepted, it does not have to be limited to pennies. Gibson Primary's goal is to raise more change than Perry Browne.....as we all know, competing can foster a sense of camaraderie and community.
