Nina's opened their doors, and their pizza ovens, to the MS/HS Stay and Play students. Student got to throw some dough and make their very own pizzas!! Thank you, Dave and the wonderful Nina's crew!
Norwich Stay and Play Foodies were able to satisfy their sweet tooth and visit Minty's Candies and Treats. We left with some great goodies and great knowledge about the candy business Anne, more importantly, advice on the importance of giving back to your community.

Week 3 at Stay and Play, we learned some social emotional skills. Students practiced cooperative play, coping skills, and even made their own sensory tools.
In the second week of Stay and Play, students learned about nature. They even were able to grow their own beans. We experimented to see how they would grow with milk, juice and soda. Come to find out, water was the best option for us.
The final day of week 3 brought the Foodies Stay and Play group to Magro's Pizzeria. We learned about the ins and outs of the delivery system and were treated by Sal to lunch! Some of the students loved it so much that they grabbed applications!
Stay and play students got to experience different cultures from around the world!
Stay and Play Foodies kicked off the last week of the program by heading to Dunkin' Donuts! We made our own doughnuts and learned all about the restaurant.
We had special guest Heather McShane come and teach us all about her many careers from event planning to waitressing to catering.
Thank you for showing us all the cool and amazing things you do!
Kate Tefft, from The Cottage Bakery, came to teach us all about what it takes to become a baker.

Youth Adventure Awaits! Please see the attached flyer for opportunities to participate in 4H this summer and fall. Register for one or all sessions! This series is for Chenango County youth, ages 10-17.
Stay and Play students at the MS/HS combined to have a Dirt Cup Creation Competition! They were judged on creativity, work ethic, and appearance. They also had a 10 minute time limit and mystery ingredients they had to include. They rocked it!
Holy "smokes!" The Stay and Play Foodies learned how to smoke meat at Dickey's Barbecue Pit today. Huge thanks to the staff at Dickey's for showing us the ropes and feeding us a delicious meal! Go Purple!
