The Norwich Boys Modified Swim Team had their first and only home meet of the season last night against Chenango Forks and Binghamton. The boys had an incredible meet with personal bests from every athlete. Out of the 9 events, our team placed first, second, or third in 6 events with a combined total of a 42.62 second time drop! Go Purple!

The Association for Pre-College Program Directors is proud to present the Summer 2024 Pre-College Programs Virtual Fair, a virtual event that provides students and their families the opportunity to learn about academic summer programs at top US colleges and universities. At the fair, attendees may visit virtual booths, where you can ask questions via text or video chat with summer program representatives. Registration is free to attendees.

Adulting 101 2024
Are you ready to leave for college or be out on your own? Are you prepared to do adult tasks and have skills to be successful? Michigan State University Extension's Adulting 101 programs help teenagers and young adults demystify the obscure reality of being an “adult” through engaging educational sessions. First grade students are exploring sound in science class! They learned that sound is created by vibrations.




Second grade students explore states of matter in science. They have discovered the properties of solids and liquids.



The school counselors have created grade level Google classrooms for all students with helpful information regarding college applications, career searches, scholarships, etc.

ATTENTION SENIORS - SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY!!
T&K Harrington, LLC is offering a $1,000 scholarship. This award is to recognize a Chenango County High School Senior who will be going directly into the workforce after graduation. Special consideration may be given to a student entering the field of pipeline construction. The student must write an essay on his or her plans after graduation. The essay should be no longer than 150 words.

The 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is available periodically as part of their soft launch. During the soft launch, the FAFSA form will be available for short periods of time while they monitor the site performance and form functionality.
You can complete the form to apply for financial aid to help pay for attendance at college between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. You will have plenty of time to complete the FAFSA form. If you do submit your form during the soft launch, your information will be saved, and you won’t need to resubmit your form or any related information. If your form is unavailable when you or your family members try to access it, please try again later.

Are you interested in developing the skills necessary for a successful career in manufacturing?
The Certified Manufacturing Associate training program helps prepare individuals to start a new career in manufacturing. This training program prepares individuals for high-demand, entry-level careers including assemblers, manufacturing associates, and production operators. This is a free opportunity for students to complete here at the high school with supervision.

SUNY Poly Women in Engineering (WIE) and the College of Engineering are excited to welcome 11th and 12th grade high school students of all gender identities to shadow current College of Engineering students for our Know One and Be One (KOBO) program.
Know One and Be One affords current high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience the educational requirements needed to pursue a career in engineering. Selected students are paired with a current SUNY Poly student pursuing a degree in our College of Engineering.
Selected high school students shadow their SUNY Poly hosts for one day and:

- Enjoy lunch in our dining center
