The Norwich City School District thanks the Norwich Dollars for Scholars program and all community partners who made it possible to give Norwich High School students several scholarship awards during the 16th annual ceremony May 29. Norwich Dollars for Scholars set records for total awards (56) and amount of scholarship money handed out ($49,500), and another $75,000 came from community support.

Norwich Dollars for Scholars is a locally operated and supported non-profit, tax-exempt scholarship foundation. Operated by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, the purpose of Dollars for Scholars is to expand access to educational opportunities by involving and assisting our community in the support of the students and the encouragement of educational achievement.
