Partnerships between NCSD and the caring organizations in our community continue to make a difference!  The Salvation Army graciously donated money to the Norwich City School District to support each of our schools and help fill the buildings' food pantries.

Staff from the middle school and high school headed to a local grocery store and loaded up multiple shopping carts with assorted boxed and canned items.  They were able to bring back enough groceries to fill the cupboards and cabinets in all four of our buildings!  A special thanks is extended to the Salvation Army for their generosity!

MESSAGE FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT
Over the summer NCSD welcomed Dr. Diana Bowers, our new interim superintendent.  Bowers brings a wealth of experience from the education field, and she has formerly served in leadership positions including superintendent for 12 years and as a school principal for 16 years.  She also spent several years at the start of her career in the classroom as a science teacher.

Bowers recently shared her superintendent's message to the community to provide insight regarding the initiatives she plans to focus on and the goals that she aspires to achieve with the district.  To learn more details about the plans for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year, click on the link below to read the superintendent's message.
