In addition to the "reporter" responsibilities, our members also take on leadership roles as editors and club officers.  For the 2018-2019 school year, Emma Evans is our "junior editor".  The club is interested in recruiting an additional editor to help with editing student work; this student must be very strong in writing skills, spelling, and proofreading for accuracy.  The club officers elected for the 2018-2019 school year include the following members:

President - Howard Shedd
Vice President - Briley Beckwith
Secretary - Emma Evans
 Treasurer - Sophia Bosworth

Students interested in joining Newspaper Club should visit the club advisor, Ms. Tammy Carpenter, in Room 64 (the computer lab classroom attached to the middle school library).  All middle school students are welcome, and all ideas geared toward the middle school audience will be considered.  Members are required to meet publishing deadlines in order for work to appear in print.
