BOARD CLERK
POSITION:
The Board Clerk position will require attending all meetings of the Board of Education; keeping records of proceedings; presiding over the reorganizational meeting until such time as Officers of the Board are determined; preparing minutes for all board meetings; establishing and publishing all lawful notices for regular and special board meetings and information pertaining to the public hearing of the budget; maintaining documents and supervising the voter registrations and elections for the District; assisting with executing various legal closing documents as they relate to borrowing of funds and financial matters of the District; reviewing and filing the Official Financial Statement of the District; and assisting the Board of Education and District Administration by acting as secretary to the Board of Education.

CLEANER
POSITION:
The Cleaner position requires working knowledge of materials and equipment used in the cleaning of buildings including solvents and other chemicals; ability to operate a variety of equipment relative to cleaning activities including dry and wet vacuums, carpet cleaners and floor strippers/buffers; ability to read labels and instructions relative to safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials and equipment; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; willingness to perform custodial and other manual tasks; thoroughness; dependability; physical condition commensurate to meet the demands of the job.

SCHOOL BUS AIDE
POSITION:
The primary duty of the School Bus Aide position is to establish behavior of the students on the School Bus and to assist the School Bus Driver with the transportation of students. The position requires the ability to establish good relationships with children and others; requires individual to be courteous, fair, patient, friendly and professional.

HEAD SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
POSITION:
The Head School Bus Driver position requires good knowledge of driving skills and operation of buses; thorough knowledge of safety procedures; good knowledge of the geography of the District; good knowledge of safety procedures and traffic laws and motor vehicle regulations applicable to school bus operation; ability to plan and supervise the work of others; ability to follow written and oral instructions; ability to keep and maintain records and reports; ability to get along well with others including the public; ability to operate a school bus.
 
Applicants must possess the appropriate level of NYS Driver License; be at least 21 years of age and satisfy the requirements for School Bus Driver under NYS Department of Education Regulations and must have two years of experience in the operation of large multi-passengers vehicles and possess certification as an Examiner issued by the NYS DMV.

POSITION:
The School Lunch Cook Manager position requires thorough knowledge of the modern methods of large scale cooking and baking; the use and care of kitchen equipment and utensils; good knowledge of cleaning materials and sanitation procedures; ability to plan work efficiently for the economic use of food supplies and equipment; ability to follow written and oral directions and to use quantity recipes; and physical condition commensurate with demands of the position.
 
Position requires at least two years of satisfactory experience in large scale food preparation.

POSITION:

Applicants must meet the following requirements a) graduate with an associate’s degree in related field and two years of clerical experience, b) graduate from high school or GED and four years of clerical experience, or c) an equivalent combination of training and experience. Applicant must pass a required Civil Service Exam.
