School Board
The Board of Education of the Norwich City School District consists of seven unpaid members elected to three-year terms of office by residents of the District. Within rules, laws and regulations set down by state and federal governments, the Board of Education functions as a legislative body responsible for governing education within the District. The Board meets once monthly at Norwich City School District Offices located at 89 Midland Drive, Norwich NY. District residents are welcome to attend both the regular and special Board of Education meeting.

Positive Points are a collection of many of the great activities that are happening in each of our buildings in the school district.  It often includes student/staff accomplishments, building projects and progress, experiences that our clubs and teams engage in, program highlights, and a variety of other positives.  Visitors can view our most recent Positive Points from the current school year on this webpage by simply clicking on the dates when they are presented at our BOE meetings.  You can also click on the link below to browse our archive from 2015-2018.

Norwich Official Logo NCSD 2019-2020 Budget Passes

The Norwich City School District announced Tuesday night that its 2019-2020 Proposed Budget, the proposed Guernsey Memorial Library Budget and its Bus Proposition all passed after voting at St. Bartholomew’s Parish Center, the Plymouth Firehouse and the Preston Firehouse. Additionally, Kiernan Hamilton and John Williams were elected to serve three-year terms on the NCSD Board of Education.
